Terms of Service for MathPro

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the MathPro application ("Service", "App"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MathPro, you confirm that:

You are at least 13 years old.
You have read and understood these Terms and agree to comply with them.
You will use the Service only on a device you own or are authorised to control.

2. Description of Service

MathPro is an Android calculator that runs entirely on your device. It provides multiple calculation modes, including:

Standard and scientific calculation.
Programmer mode (hexadecimal, decimal, octal, binary, and bitwise operations).
Percent and tip/bill-split tools.
A worksheet with named variables.
Unit conversion, function graphing, loan/EMI estimation, and date-difference tools.

MathPro also keeps a local history of your calculations and remembers your display preferences.

3. No Accounts

MathPro has no registration or login. Your history and settings live on your device. You are responsible for backing up or migrating your device data; uninstalling the app or clearing its storage permanently removes your history and settings.

4. Calculations Are Provided for Convenience

MathPro is a general-purpose tool provided for your convenience. While we strive for accuracy, you agree that:

You are responsible for verifying any result before relying on it, particularly for financial, academic, professional, engineering, medical, or other consequential decisions.
Modes such as the loan/EMI, date, and conversion tools produce estimates based on the values and assumptions you enter and simplified formulas; they are not financial, legal, or professional advice.
You will not rely on MathPro for safety-critical or emergency purposes.

5. Your Responsibilities

By using MathPro, you agree that:

You will use the Service on your own device and in compliance with applicable law.
You will not reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the application, or circumvent any advertising, access-control, or security feature.
You will not attempt to interfere with the ads served in the app or generate invalid ad activity.

6. Advertisements

MathPro is free and supported by advertisements served by Google AdMob. By using the App you agree to the display of these ads. In the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland, a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) is shown before personalised ads are served. Ad-related data practices are described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference. MathPro processes and stores your calculations and settings entirely on your device and does not upload them.

8. Intellectual Property

All content in the MathPro application — including the name, logo, design, software, and copy — is owned by or licensed to us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without written permission.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any calculation, estimate, or graph will be free of inaccuracies. Any reliance on the Service is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA OR LOSSES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON A CALCULATION OR ESTIMATE — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or ₹500 (five hundred Indian Rupees), whichever is greater.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MathPro and its operator from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights or applicable law.

12. Termination

These Terms apply for as long as you use the Service. You may stop using MathPro at any time by uninstalling it. We may discontinue the Service or release updates that change its features.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India. We encourage you to contact us before pursuing formal proceedings.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes we will surface a notice in the app or update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
